Travel to Paris with Paris Love Match

Piers Chapman had seen Paris,
In pictures,
In movies,
In books.
What he hadn’t seen was the mobster.
Or the dictator.
Or the trained killers.
Or the diamonds they were chasing.
But it was Paris,
The city of light,
The city of love.
And a girl had already stolen his heart.
What could possibly go wrong?
Getting a taxi in Paris can be hell. Piers Chapman expected a boring business trip.

ggpromo2

Travel to London with A Stormy Spring

She didn’t want a man. She didn’t want love. She wanted to forget.
Though her name is synonymous with success, Becca Wainwright isn’t interested in fame or celebrity. All that matters to her is choreography and how alive she feels when she creates….
Famously single, Lucas Del Garda’s passions are wealth, celebrity and power.
The electrifying attraction between the dancer and PR Guru is instantaneous.
But after a stormy night in the strong arms of Lucas, Becca finds her life has changed, for ever..

Enjoy Provence with The Promise of Provence
Surprise, shock, and a shift in her comfortable life tumble into Katherine Price’s world when least expected. The future she has imagined suddenly vanishes, leaving little to focus upon beyond her career and the caregiving her elderly widowed mother might require.
Fate has other plans.
June in Provence is full of promise when Katherine arrives from Canada, eager to feel renewed by her surroundings. Endless rows of lavender prepare to burst into pink and purple blooms. Fields of sunflowers flow in golden waves among vineyards and olive groves. Ancient hilltop villages beckon. It’s the postcard setting she envisioned, but is that all she needs?
After a year of heartbreak, Katherine has impulsively agreed to a home exchange in the south of France. Colorful locals, a yellow lab named Picasso, and the inspiring beauty of the countryside breathe new life into her days.
Seeking to shed the pain of betrayal and loss, she struggles to recapture her joie de vivre and searches for the answer to a haunting question: is it too late to begin again?
As Katherine explores the romantic cobblestone lanes of medieval towns, discovers the intoxicating pleasures of Paris and savours the sun-kissed Côte d’Azur, she begins redefining the possibilities in her life.
An enduring story of hope and change in life’s later years is woven through the author’s love-letter to France. Like a well-travelled friend, Patricia Sands invites readers into a world she loves and entices them to linger.

Travel to St. Croix with The Keatyn Chronicles
I’ve finally become the kind of girl my little sisters could look up to.
Except for the lies.
Lying to my friends is killing me.
And the longer I’m there—the closer we get—the more I feel like I’m being eaten from the inside out.
If I go back to Eastbrooke, I’ll end up nothing but a shell.
So I’m not going back.
I’m going to St. Croix by myself. And for the first time in my life, I’m okay with being alone.
Except . . . I don’t actually end up on the island alone.
This is novella is number 4.5 of a six book series.

Celebrating others ~ a cover reveal and a new release!

November 6, 2013 by Patricia Sands

b0c397c332a33c59f36446a5da8070bfThere are so many rewards to being part of the amazing online writing community.  I can’t say enough about the collegiality, respect, information sharing, friendship, learning and laughter that are a regular part of our daily interactions through social media.

The diversity of talent astounds me and through the benefit of many new friendships and connections, I’ve become far more open to reading almost every genre out there; often with surprisingly positive results.

Today I want to share some exciting news from two good friends, delightful women and  talented writers in very different genres.

FANTASY writer, ANGELA WALLACE, a 2013 Best Indie Award Winner, has a cover reveal for her new paranormal romance ~ DREAM SNATCHER!

Falling asleep has never been so dangerous… Dreamsnatcher Cover RevealLexa has spent the past five years training the princess of Teltania in dreamwalking, but with Taryn’s eighteenth birthday approaching, the girl has increasing royal duties and Lexa is getting ready to retire yet again. This time she’s looking forward to settling down and sailing with Sir Neil Duram—until his ship barely survives a raider attack. The raiders have been hounding Teltania’s coast and their victims are falling into comas. With Neil’s crew at risk, Lexa sets out to find a cure. But things aren’t what they seem. She discovers that the comatose have been snatched from their dreams and stolen into the dreamscape. The scattered cases soon become a potential plague, and Lexa has to find the connection between the waking world raiders and the dream snatchers. Is there a third dreamwalker out there, or something much more sinister? Lexa’s desperate search for answers will drive her to the edge in order to save everything she cares about.

August 5, 2013 by Patricia Sands

When I first published The Promise of Provence, Home Base Holidays very enthusiastically contacted me and embraced this story of a home exchange in the south of France. And why not? HomeBaseHolidays-LogoThis is a fabulous company that offers precisely the same opportunities to their members that Katherine, my main character, experienced.  I was pleased to offer them two copies of my novel as giveaways on their site.

Congratulations to the winners:  Linda & Rob from Fort Worth, Texas, USA and John & Eveline from Auckland, New Zealand !

I can assure you the friendly, knowledgeable folks at Home Base are only too willing to send you any information you wish.

MY NEWSLETTER IS LIVE!

I’ve entered into another aspect of this wonderful world of publishing by sending a newsletter every now and then. I’m not going to post each one here but thought I would share my first with you! You know how “firsts” are …

Pull up a chair and join me ~ here we go with my first newsletter! Thanks to all who sent emails after reading The Promise of Provence or left your email address at an event with me. I’m blown away by the response and will be sending out a brief newsletter from time to time to stay in touch, offer giveaways and share information. If you would rather not receive my newsletter, by all means click below to unsubscribe. No worries! Two weeks ago I attended the Romance Writers of America’s national conference in Atlanta, Georgia, along with approximately 2000 other writers at every stage of their careers. It was a dizzying four days of excellent workshops, presentations and extraordinary networking. Along with that was the wonderful opportunity to meet a group of writers with whom I’ve been connected online for two years. We have become like family so to finally meet in person was phenomenal!I returned with a firm vision as to where my writing is directed and I’m excited to say that part of the plan keeps Katherine’s story moving forward with unexpected twists. I’ll share details and give you some sneak peeks as time goes on.

On September 9th, my husband and I will be leaving for a month in Nice to visit friends and favourite places while I spend some time doing research. On October 4th there will be a lively launch party for The Promise of Provence at Heidi’s English Bookshop in Antibes. If you are in that part of the world, please join us! The details will be on my blog.

If you sent me a message saying you would like a postcard from Katherine, please be sure you left your postal address and not just your email.

I’m excited to report our first women’s tour to the south of France for next June quickly sold out, so another has been added from June 25 to July 5. It was fun to hear from some of you already booked! Click here for more information and by all means let me know if you are joining us! FYI – I’ve posted a reading list on my blog and would be happy to have any suggestion you may have.

I love hearing from you so don’t hesitate to contact me. Catch my news on my blog.

On another note, I am dashing off with my DH to spend a few days with friends at a cottage … WITHOUT INTERNET OR CELLULAR SERVICE … GASP!

Do you ever go “unplugged”? I’m kind of looking forward to it … might even get some uninterrupted writing accomplished and find time to spend with my camera! My DH is tapping his fingers waiting for me to get out the door! See you at the end of the week – have a good one!
