My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Nice. All those who lost their lives, including precious children. My heart is broken.

Yes. There is no sense to it.

It is so terrible about the disaster in Nice, the two times I have been to France and loved it, I always felt so safe. With these attacks happening every few months in Europe it makes you think twice about travelling anywhere.
Trust everything is fine where you and your husband are staying, stay safe.

Your photos on Instagram. Are really lovely by the way. Thanks for sharing.

I still feel safe there, Wendy. We will go into Nice in the next day or two and lay flowers at the memorial set up. Sadly, these things can happen in our back yard anywhere in the world these days. So I encourage you to keep traveling!

I’m glad you enjoy the photos on Instagram. It’s a pleasure to share them.

Oh, Martha. you are so right. Such a senseless tragedy. Our teenage granddaughters are with us for a week and we almost went into Nice yesterday but decided to put it off to next week. Good decision! I hope your summer is going well and you are able to enjoy peaceful days. Bises

Good decision — I think that someone is watching over you and keeping you safe! Enjoy the rest of their visit. It is always peaceful here, although somewhat isolated for us. But we have books, films, and Internet! Besos and baci.

Good to hear you are okay, Patricia. I thought about you when I heard the news. You have become synonymous with the South of France in my mind.
