If it’s Friday, it must be France …
Happy first day of the Spring Equinox … even though March 20 is being referred to as Freaky Friday by some! In spite of some unusual occurrences including a solar eclipse and a supermoon, there is no denying it IS the first day of Spring.

Oh! It’s snowing where you are? Again? Désolée!
Just keep thinking Spring … I’ll keep thinking that for you too! It really is here, but I’ve heard the news is a little slow arriving in some places.
I’m celebrating the arrival of the end of winter by beginning my countdown to arriving in France for our annual stay on April 26.
I’m sorry, but I just can’t wait … 37 more sleeps …
Here’s our first stop and I’ll be taking all of you along with me. No packing. No waiting in lines. You are invited to simply sit back, relax and take a vacation in your most comfy spot! It’s going to be magnifique!

I wish it were snowing here. I live in California and snow was just a dream for us this year. It’s going to be a very hot, very long, very dry summer.
I wish I could sneak away to France with you, but alas, such is not to be. Perhaps next year. Big changes are in store for me so who knows what the future holds. Hopefully lots of travel and adventure.
Happy Spring, Patricia!

Oh dear, that doesn’t bode well for those dreadful forest fires. We will all hope for the best. That’s quite a teaser you have left us, Patricia. I hope the changes are welcome and positive. Lots of “travel and adventure” sounds fine to me! Keep me posted, please!
As a matter of fact, it is snowing where I am: New York City. and I am so over snow this winter! Your Paris looks very nice. Have an extra croissant while you’re there for me.
Bonjour! You made the breakthrough ~ magnifique! I’m going back up the snow of Toronto on Tuesday, so I feel your pain. It would be my pleasure to have an extra croissant for you … and when I return, I’ll need to order one of those spin bikes like yours. Fatty boom boom will be in the house!
Ah, well, we’re beating you to it. We leave next week for daughter-in-Barcelona, and then it’s on to France and the town where we lived. Like you, can’t wait. Though I understand they aren’t organising the weather too well.
Bon voyage! Have a wonderful visit at all your stops. I will look forward to hearing how you felt about your return to your old stomping grounds. I am sure you will be warmly welcomed and I hope the météo is as inaccurate as they are in south Florida!
Spring is slow to come in many areas. We had some lovely warm weather here on the coast of Spain but it turned windy and cool for the last 4 days! Too cloudy to see the eclipse. Your annual visit to France is just around the corner!!
Yes, it was raining and nasty the last couple of times I have skyped with my sister near Granada. We leave for France on April 25th. I will be in the south of Spain in September. Will you?
Beautiful for me too! France is not (yet) on my calendar. Paris now is going through a wave of pollution and I will wait for the fall. But the books you introduced us to are fabulous. Since I’m familiar with France I don’t enter the contest to leave an extra chance to a happy winner. A plus tard, Patricia, and happy packing!
Evelyne, I’m glad it is beautiful for you too … and you should enter anyway! Hopefully the pollution in Paris will be cleared up when we arrive. It doesn’t bother me but my husband really struggles with it. Bon weekend!
Happy Spring, Patricia. Here in Chicagoland, we flirted with it for a week or so, then it left as quickly as it came. Oh well. No doubt it will come again. Hope you have a lovely time in France.
Darn! I heard from a few friends in your area and others in the northeast that Spring had lost its way. Hopefully it will arrive there soon. Thanks for your good wishes … the countdown is on. 🙂
Happy Spring Patricia! Doesn’t feel like it here in NYC yet as it’s still in the 40’s. Sunny and crisp air though so I’m happy.
Also, thanks so much for the kind donation to my charity fundraiser. Make A Wish, that I am running Urban Mudder for. It was very generous!
May each day bring you all the pleasures you dream.
I love that picture of the cat! 😀
