If it’s Friday, it must be France …
Wandering with my camera, I can’t resist the village cats:
And then there is Henri! Have you met Henri, Le Chat Noir? An existential, angst-filled feline, I first came upon him in this blog post back in April 2012. If you haven’t met him, you can see his first two videos at that link. She may not remember but I have the fabulous Tameri Etherton to thank for the initial introduction.
J’adore Henri! I hope you do too. Say bonjour to him on his Facebook page, if you like.
I hope it’s warming up wherever you are! Bon weekend tout le monde!
I love Henri, too! And your photos of cats are great — not a Pepe le Peu in the lot!
I figured you and Henri might be acquainted! I’ll keep searching for Pepe …
Patricia – Viewing your wonderful pictures of France gave a serious tug to my ‘walking boots’ self. I go through periods when I truly miss living in Europe. I always seemed to have more free time living abroad. More time to ramble about, more time to sit and enjoy a great cup of coffee and perhaps a pastry, ask a gardener about their always beautiful display of blooming flowers. I think perhaps it’s the silence I miss most of all. Somehow, I always managed to find that ‘me’ time during the years I was abroad. There’s something about stepping back on American soil that suggests I should move back into high gear.
Sheri, I hope you will share some of your vignettes from your years abroad. Bon dimanche!
I’m not really a cat person, but I think I’m in love. I can’t believe I just Liked Henri’s page on facebook!!!
Beautiful photos, Patricia; I especially love the one with the green door.
I love your pictures of the village cats. I am partial to the black ones as I have black cat named Monkey, although the cat in the sunflowers is adorable too. I have met Henri before and enjoy him so much. Thanks for sharing these clips. “I have no regrets” LOL
Always a joy to visit your blog! 🙂
Merci! And I yours …
Now isn’t he fabulous!!!
Love your cat photos, love Henri. Thanks for reminding me about him. He’d regard it as par for the course that I’ve been neglecting him lately.
Haha! Yes and it is no doubt appreciated when we feed his neuroses. I am betting there are some interesting chats du village in your neighbourhood.
Beautiful photos, and beautiful cats! I love Henri, too (even got the “Morons” T-Shirt).
Brilliant!
We are kindred spirits. Every Abbaye, every chateau I visit I spot and photograph the resident cat!
I enjoyed your earlier posts with your country felines. The stroll you invited us on today was just lovely!
These are lovely!
Henri was not pleased to share the spotlight.
I have a fat cat, He is probably my biggest fan. Loved the pictures. I do envy their stress free life. My cat is annoyed with me at the moment because I will not let him sit on my keyboard.
How did I miss your marvelous Cat Fancy post?! Patricia, your photographs are beautiful. I keep watching the slide show again and again. I now feel very relaxed! There’s not a dud in the batch. I especially love Le Chat Noir and pottery shot. I love the shape of the kitty against stones. Lovely!! T. (Enjoy the week!)
