Brilliant! More than 1.5 million views

October 1, 2013 by Patricia Sands Leave a Comment

A good friend sent this to me last week and it deserves to be shared. You may even be one of the 1.5 million viewers that have already seen this video. McGill University grad student, Tim Blais, uses Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody to explain scientific string theory.

Science teachers take note!  Click here for the full article.

And who knew, Queen guitarist, Brian May has a PhD in astrophysics? Freddie would be proud!

Enjoy and pass it on!

I know, I know. It doesn’t make it any easier for us mere artsy mortals to understand, but it’s very cool!

Love it! Queen is great and so is this song. I don’t get the string theory thing either. I can barely write my goofy blog!

I’m so out of it, when I first read your post Patricia, I thought you wrote “scientific string cheese”. I love Puppet Einstein. Move over Lamb Chop!

Haha! That actually would have gotten my attention faster! Puppet Einstein rocks! Oui! D’accord! I just love the amount of time and detail this young man put into the project. Very cool!

My husband shared it with me – don’t worry, he’s a nuclear physicist and he only understands half of it.

Well, you are more fortunate than most of us, Marina! I would love to understand half of it!

Well, that was fun. But I’m none the wiser. It looks as if I’m not alone.
