And now my very favourite video about our wonderful country … thanks to an American!  Tom Brokaw explains Canada to Americans

How are you spending Canada Day?

Best wishes to our dear neighbours for a Happy 4th of July on Thursday!

Ditto! As much as I go on about my love for France, Canada is still the best place to call home!

Isn’t that just the best video? Do you remember it from the media coverage prior to the Vancouver Olympics?

Ah, I live across the river from Canada near Detroit so I love wishing all my Canadian friends a Happy Canada day. Enjoy what remains of your holiday, Patricia.

Thanks for posting that video, Patricia. Now I feel slightly less ignorant about who my neighbor is across the border. Happy belated birthday O Canada!

I love that video and was blown away the first time I saw it. In a world that is so filled with vitriol and hatred, it’s a refreshing change.
