I’m in Atlanta, Georgia this week with two thousand other writers attending the RWA National Conference. Yesterday was a day to get registered and spend the rest of the afternoon and evening talking, laughing, meeting new people, seeing old friends, and hanging out, in person finally, with women who have become like family online … i.e. the Wana Sistas! What a time we are having!
Today the courses, discussions and workshops begin that will fill the next three days. It’s not just fun and games here, folks!
So while I immerse myself in all things writerly this week, here’s a special offer from some of my friends: FREE BOOKS FOR YOU! Browse through and see what calls to you, click on the link, load up your ereader and enjoy. If you don’t already belong to Smashwords, you do have to sign up but that simply allows you to benefit from these special offers. Go for it!

Thanks!
I haven’t read that, Angel. Let me know how it is!
Have fun. I was inches from clicking my heels and boarding my plane but I had a last minute family event. Have a glass of wine for me.
Oh Brenda, it would have been so much fun to meet you here! The atmosphere is so collegial and energizing. Tomorrow workshops begin in earnest.
Thanks for the list all in one place! I grabbed a couple and shared on my FB page. Have a great time at RWA! 🙂
Have fun at the RWA. I was planning to go but had to change plans. Maybe next year…
Thank you for giving a shoutout to the Summer Basket giveaway, Patricia 🙂
Can’t wait to hear more, have fun!
So far it’s been very social and highly entertaining. Workshops, panels, etc begin tomorrow from dawn to dusk. Should be excellent!
Have fun in Atlanta, Pat. I sure wish I could have been there this year.
And thanks for the free reads.

Have you been to a national conference before? I’m really enjoying the experience and it’s fabulous to be hanging out ‘in the flesh’ with some of our WANA gang.
Very nice of you to post this offer. Hope you enjoy the conference and that it’s not too hot down there!
I hope you see something you will enjoy, Phil! Actually it was hotter in Toronto when I left than it has been here … no complaints!
It sounds like you’re in your bliss. I’m still in recovery from attending BEA.
You are so right and you know what that’s all about. BEA is a definite possibility next year!
I just filled my kindle shelves! What a fabulous giveaway! Glad you’re having a ball!
