I feel incredibly fortunate to have my book carried in the Nicholas Hoare bookstore, 45 Front Street, Toronto, as of today. It’s such a beautiful store and you recognize the British connection as soon as you enter. Warm wood floors, a high ceiling and light-filled space with enormous bookshelves accessed by ladders, invite you to browse their amazing selection of literature. The staff are knowledgeable and welcoming. Thank you to Maxeen!
If you are in downtown Toronto, do drop in!
… and remember, in the west end Kingsway neighbourhood visit
The Book Mark and in Burlington, A Different Drummer Books.
All extremely special stores with the very best of personal service.
Well I certainly had fun today! At 1 p.m. I was interviewed by Hugh Reilly and a lovely young woman, Natalie (must find out her last name), on Hugh’s show Liquid Lunch. In a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, we chatted about The Bridge Club and my experience with self-publishing. Of course, the “real” bridge club did come up in conversation several times and they were impressed we were still as tight as ever.
If you haven’t seen any of their programs, check it out on www.thatchannel.com.
I’ll post the video as soon as I receive it.
Here are some postings from The Bridge Club Facebook page. Once I get the dreaded link working … I’m not the only one who can’t figure it out!
For now Click Here to go there directly and then click on discussions. I’m waiting to hear from you!
