If it’s Friday, it must be France …
I’m traveling in the south of Spain for three weeks with friends and visiting my spectacular sister-in-law who went to this region for a weekend decades ago and is still there! Now there’s a story!
We’re waiting for the taxi to pick us up to take us to catch a bus to Seville … and I’m still in my nightgown … but having fun being a nomad. The best part is spending relaxing time discovering new and revisiting old … exploring, sharing, laughing …
I’ll post photos from our travels so far next week. See you then!
In the meantime, here’s le grand nomade in Antibes … by Jaume Plensa … please read about him here. I would love to write more but everyone is heading out the door, ready to roll … and I’m dashing out behind them … good thing friends are patient, understanding and supportive … and I’ll be buying the beverages when we get to Seville!!! Adios!
Bon weekend! Where were your best travel times with friends?
Yes it’s Friday and it IS France – sunny 28 deg. Nice, to be exact. Hope you and M. have a great weekend in lovely Sevilla. Love, T & J
Hey Ted, sounds like it is lovely in Nice. Actually I’m in Spain with some girlfriends and Maher is in Florida spending time in the pool as rehab after his hip replacement in July. We enjoyed Seville and saw some great flamenco there. Followed some of Hemingway’s footsteps in Ronda. 🙂
Oh what fun. We’ll be in Seville in about a month. We’ll have to exchange travellers’ tales via our blogs. Have a great time.
We loved Seville and I just wish this article had come out before we went. At least you might benefit from some of the info. We did see excellent flamenco but would have pursued the spots mentioned here, had we known.

Even now, it was still quite hot so I think your timing will be perfect!
Enjoy Spain. We love it here. I love travelling with friends. One of the best times was travelling in the UAE with 2 good friends. Another was a trip down the Danube with friends. Such great times.
It sounds like you have wonderful memories and that’s such a satisfying part of travel! I was hoping we might be closer to you here in Spain … another time!
Have fun – it sounds like a great adventure Patricia!
Hey Meg ~ It’s the adventure of every trip that builds a wealth of memories. But I don’t need to tell you that! Where are you off to next?
Nice writing….I felt as if I was running for a bust too….have a good trip:)
..not running for a bust but a bus:)
